Delicious, home-made tacos



Everybody loves tacos! Whether it's a midnight craving or a family taco night, tacos are perfect for all occasions. We're a particular fan of Movie & Taco Fridays, a monthly ritual that's great for both the stomach and the soul. The perfect taco recipe leaves a lingering impression for months to follow. And, that's why we decided to share with you a recipe that's been a superstar in our household!


Ingredients


Tortilla (1 pack)

Mushrooms (250 g)

Minced meat (500 g)

Bell pepper (1)

Salt (1 tsp)

Black pepper (1/2 tsp)

Paprika powder (1/2 tsp)

Garlic powder (1/2 tsp)

Taco spice (2 tsp)

Red beans (1/3 can)

Red onion (2)

Tomatoes (2 large)

Cranberry (100 g)

Romaine lettuce (1 package)

Corn (200 g)

Chili (1-4)

Salsa sauce (1 bottle)

Sour cream (1 package)

Parmigiano cheese (150 g)


Method


  1. In a frying pan, cook mushrooms on medium high heat with salt, black pepper, paprika powder and taco spices. Stir occasionally until cooked.

  2. In another frying pan, cook the minced meat on medium high heat with spices and taco spice. Break the meat apart and continue cooking until thoroughly cooked.

  3. Warm the tortilla on low heat according to package instructions.

  4. To prepare the cheese sauce, mix oregano, salt and parmigiano cheese with sour cream.

  5. Fill the tortilla with romaine lettuce, 3 spoons of minced meat, and ingredients of choice, such as salsa sauce, minced tomatoes, minced chili, beans and cheese sauce.

  6. Alternatively, to fill a vegetarian tortilla, top with ingredients like mushroom, corn, cranberry, bell peppers and cheese sauce.
